More Related Resource Pages and exchange pages.

The page my link is posted on must have a page rank 2 or above to be considered for being listed on this page.

There is more information available at my new portfolio website development tutorial I am currently working on. This portfolio website creating tutorial I have put together will be a great addition to my portfolio website: plattdaddy.com when I am finished creating all eight steps and I have truly decided on the order of them:)

This is my new hybrid resource center: a mix of exchanged web related links, and valuable web related links of my choosing that I feel provide top quality information, products, or services.
My target ratio is 40% exchanged links and 60% ultra relevant, and very useful links to sites of my choosing. After that 60% 40% link ratio has been met not be excepting link trade submissions for this page any longer.

To post your link on this page, copy and past my html into one of your pages and submit your link HTML to this form.

<a href="" title="portfolio website">portfolio website</a><br> Portfolio website of Steve Tchorzewski that focuses on high end graphic design, adhering to W3C standards, and implementing advanced CSS techniques.

This page is designed as a listing of informative and helpful websites that offer great products and or services. I have listed the categories I find most relevant to my site, my link partners, and you the visitor.
So that we can clear the spammy link pages out of our minds and all begin to see with clarity.

Web Design

I am looking to fill these six categories with five useful sites each. By carefully screening the links I will except here hopefully I can provide a useful resource for my visitors. And at the same time make these more focused link pages that won't end up having hundreds of links on them over time. I will not link to you from this page unless you fit into the listed categories and have a page rank two or above on the page you are linking back from. Hopefully by keeping my links pages small and more focused I can provide good info for my visitors while gaining page rank for me and my link partners too.

I am a web designer, however I realize I can not be everything to everyone. So here are some link for those of you who are not done comparing prices or soliciting bids. I also try to provide links that can help you create, maintain and improve your own websites.

Hosting

Hosting: the backbone of the web. If you have bought your domain name the next step is to find the hosting package that fits your needs. This can be a daunting task if you consider the wide range of options and offers out there.

Unless you are very familiar with the latest security techniques, I recommend buying hosting from a reputable hosting company rather than trying to set up a server and hosting yourself.

Listed here are some high quality hosts. Follow the listed links to learn more about hosting and the best package for you and your website.

Internet/Web

There are so many access of this industry that I decided to go with a vague blanket term for this categories. I Consider this section a technology and Internet resource, a place for interesting and useful links that don't fit into the hosting and web design sections. This is a good section to check back in on every now and again, as I anticipate adding some rare links to this section.

These are links I use all the time to help maintain, upgrade, and analyze the performance of my portfolio website:

I strongly recommend you take a serious look at the links I have posted below to help you get more involved with your portfolio website or get a great start if you are planning to developer one .

The following sites are extremely useful tools I use to maintain and sustain my portfolio website as well as high quality free services I use to trade links and calculate web statistics.

This is not your ordinary link page. This site is dedicated to providing relevant and useful links to be used by web designers, both professional and enthusiasts. The sprit of this site is one of sharing: sharing information, sharing page rank and just generally spreading the wealth.
I am only interested in trading links with sites that link to my main page from a page that has a goggle page rank of 3 or above.

The links I do trade from this page will, be super relevant of course, and only make up less than half of the links that I intend to post here. The other 70% of the links on this page will be sites that I recommend to people interested in web design and creating a portfolio website. There are many resources I will include that I use all of the time as a web designer working on my portfolio website. Some examples of witch are:

Marketleap is my home page away from home, this is the website where I check my engine statistics such as :search engine saturation, link popularity, and verify that my keywords are ranking well (in all of the engines at once, it's a very helpful tool).

I use this tool at least once a week to keep track of how many inbound links I have and how my rankings are doing. I also use the trend history report to see how these stats are evolving over time!

Plattdaddy is hosted on an extremely limited hosting plan (I know this must be a real shocker to everyone wondering why this page hasn't even loaded yet:) But honestly I host with directnic (I also bought my domain name from them) and my service is as good as it is with other hosts. So I get the limited plan for like $20 a year. However with the limited plan I get no web stats, or any the cool extras that come with monthly plans.

So I was stuck for about a month because I do not think you can upgrade a hosting plan purchased through directnic:(

With this great service I am now able to check on all of the information that is important to my site (without having to switch hosts or upgrade my package and end up paying much more) just by adding the counter code to my home page and activating my account via email. Quick Easy Effective FREE!

Now I know exactly how many people have visited my page, where each person came from as far as google, MSN, yahoo etc., And even what technologies each visitor views my site using, like: platform (Mac or PC)- connection speed - ip address - screen resolution. EVERYTHING!

I feel like I have gone long enough without purchasing some photography (or taking some of my own). I just noticed that I don't use allot of photograph in my work and I am thinking it could open a whole new world as far as what I have to start with. I need raw material to make truly inspirational website solutions. Do not fear I will find some worthy photographers and post the links as soon as I do my research.. spruce up my graphical user interfaces who am I kidding? I mean just look at how clean it is.. Damn I'm good:)
